Dr. Cem Emir Guldogan is an esteemed Associate Professor of General Surgery and Medical Director-CMO at The Pearl International Hospital, Doha, Qatar. He holds prestigious fellowships with the American College of Surgeons, the European Board of Surgery, and the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Guldogan earned his medical degree from Ankara University Medical School and completed his General Surgery Residency at Ankara Numune Education and Research Hospital. He has extensive experience in colorectal and bariatric surgery, having worked at leading hospitals in Turkey and Qatar.
His clinical roles include consultant positions at Liv Hospital Ankara and Turkish Hospital in Doha, with a focus on advanced laparoscopic and bariatric procedures. Dr. Guldogan has received numerous awards, including the IFSO 2018 International Award for his research on bariatric surgery. He is committed to education and has completed advanced surgical courses globally, including robotic surgery and colorectal techniques at prestigious institutions such as Stony Brook University and IRCAD Strasbourg.
